Woodedge Acupuncture complies with The Data Protection Act, 1998. Please note the following:

  • Access to personal data will be restricted to those who need it for clearly defined purposes. Personal data held on computer will be protected by regularly changed passwords, while data held on other media will be kept secure when not in use. Action will be taken promptly to investigate and remedy any security breaches.

  • Data will only be used for the purposes for which it is collected unless the data subject is advised and consents.

  • Data will not be held for longer than necessary and will be destroyed when no longer needed, or at the end of any statutory retention period. 

  • Date collected will be accurate and kept up to date (where necessary).

  • Data will not be transferred to a country outside of the European Economic Area unless that country has an adequate level of protection for the rights and freedoms of the individual similar to the Act itself.

Woodedge Acupuncture is committed to protecting your privacy. Any information that you give us about yourself or that we collect is always held securely and that information will only be used in the ways described here. When you make a request for treatment we ask for your name, address, phone number and email address. We will also ask about for information about you.  We will not share your information in ways not described in this policy statement, and we will not provide any other organisation with your personal information.

Your use of this Website signifies that you consent to our Privacy Policy as described in this document. Woodedge Acupuncture reserves the right to change or update its Privacy Policy.
